Tarajim Centre extends support to knowledge seekers, knowledge providers, literary ideas, and intellectual interactions.

The Centre is proud to have a panel of prominent academics who celebrate ideas. Our researchers work through archives and documentation centres, and coordinate with prestigious Indian universities and institutions.

Together we help hold seminars and interactions with visiting academic, cultural and literary figures, and see that the translated word reaches the readers it was written for.

Authentic translation of literature, scholarly texts, papers and manuscripts, paired with research assistance for archival material, by highly reputed, experienced and serious translators.

Our team includes recipients of the highest honours for Arabic language and literature, awarded by the Government of India and by Arabic language and literature councils across the Arab world, from the Arabian Gulf to North Africa.

We are a sought-after centre for translation from Arabic into Indian regional languages, from Bengali to Hindi and Urdu, and back again. Our record includes more than 50 books, novels and short-story collections translated between Arabic and Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam and English.
